Are people who own a gun less likely to favor a law mandating a police permit?

Is there a relationship between whether or not a Mexican-American speaks Spanish as a first language and whether their occupation is blue or white collar?

Is there a relationship between size of family of origin and size of future family desired by that student?

Is there a relationship between self-esteem and religious beliefs?

Other students asked a question unique to their hobbies or interests such as:

Is whether or not an NBA player plays above his statistical "average" independent from whether or not that day's opponent is a team with a winning record?

Is whether a UNC student watches soap operas independent of whether that student works?

Other students asked a question about their students' habits and choices, such as:

Do students have good toothbrushing habits?

Is gender related to student choice of major? to music expenditures?

Is year in school related to satisfaction with roommate?

Many students asked a question that began "Is there a relationship between students' GPA and...." Some of the completions included:

....whether or not they favored mandatory standardized exit exams for high school students?

...whether or not they wear corrective vision (contacts or glasses)?

.....hours of TV watched?......hours of time studying?

Other students asked a question unique to their career goals, such as:

Is there a relationship between grade level taught by elementary teachers and their belief in using technology in that grade's classroom?

Is there a correlation between beef carcass weight and ribeye area?

do schoolteachers favor national testing?
