What do I do if I finish Math 1411 in the middle of a semester?
You may enter Math 1411 (Calculus) in the next time interval, or you may wait until the beginning of the new semester to register for Math 1411.
Why don't I see my grade for Math 1411 even though I finished it during Maymester or Wintermester?
Your grade will not appear on your transcript until you register and pay for Math 1411 in the following full semester (Fall, Spring or Summer).
Do I have to pay for the full Math 1411 tuition if I only need to take module 3?
Yes, unless you have the opportunity to take module 3 during a minimester (Maymester or Wintermester), when Module 3 is offered at a reduced cost.
How do I get department approval to register for module 2 or module 3 in the Fall or Spring semesters?
Go to Bell Hall 124 and show proof of having passed the previous module by bringing:
  • An exit exam with a passing grade to show that you belong in Module 2 or 3, or
  • A transcript showing successful completion of Math 1320, Math 2301 or transfer equivalent of these courses.
The department staff will provide the appropriate overrides.
