December 14th Webassign Test-Out Exam

There will be a webassign test-out exam on Thursday, December 14th in the library rooms 204A and 204B. It will available for any student who received a D or an F in Math 1320 during the fall 2017 semester. You can register for the test-out exam starting on Friday, December 8th . Registration ends Tuesday, December 12th at 11:59PM. On the test-out exam, you will be provided with a formula sheet (the same formula sheet that you are provided with on your final exam). Wintermester Workshop

We will offer a Winterrmester workshop January 2 through January 13 , 2018. It will be available to students who received a D or an F in math 1320 during the fall 2017 semester. Students will take one written comprehensive final exam. If students pass with a 70% or better, then their grade for Math 1320 will be changed to a "C".See this flyer for more information.   


Math 1320 is a precalculus course for liberal arts, business, and other non-science majors. The topics covered include:

  • Linear, quadratic, exponential and logarithmic functions;
  • Systems of linear equations;
  • Matrix algebra;
  • The mathematics of finance;
  • The algebra of sets; and
  • Probability.

Students are strongly encouraged to study the course objectives (see link on the left,) since mastering these objectives will ensure a successful completion of the course.
