Text: The text is "Mathematical Journeys," Peter Schumer, John Wiley & Sons, 2004.

Course Content: A survey of problems in various branches of mathematics, such as logic, probability, graph theory, number theory, algebra and geometry.

Prerequisites: Math 409, 415 and 423 or approval of instructor

Homeworks are to be received by midnight on the due date, preferably via FAX (979-862-4190), but e-mail (PDF or PS file to sewell@math.tamu.edu) is also acceptable.
