Application Fees and Deadlines
There is an application fee of $45 for US citizens, permanent residents and Mexican nationals. The application fee is $80 for international applicants.
The Fall semester application deadline established by the Graduate School is August 1 for US citizens and permanent residents, July 1 for Mexican nationals, and March 1 for other international applicants. However, after July 15 a $15.00 non-refundable fee for expedited processing will be assessed.

Transcripts
You will need to submit official transcripts. You can use unofficial transcripts temporarily, but you must have official transcripts sent to the Graduate School as soon as possible. If you are a UTEP graduate, the Graduate School will obtain your transcripts for you.
Application Forms
All graduate applicants must submit the application for UTEP Graduate school. Applicants to the MAT-Mathematics program must also submit the application form for the Department of Mathematical Sciences.

- Go to https://apply.embark.com/grad/UTEP
You need to create an account if you are not an Embark user. - When asked to select the program to which you are applying, choose the appropriate option (Mathematics (Teaching) - MAT, Mathematical Sciences - MS, or Statistics - MS) under the College of Science section.
- Follow the steps and make sure you submit your application.

- Fill up the form at
http://www.math.utep.edu/graduate/mat/MAT-form.pdf. - Save the form and send it as an attachment to kienlim@utep.edu or hknaust@utep.edu. Remember to print a copy of the form for your own records. You are advised to e-mail the graduate advisor to confirm that he has received your form.
