How to Apply

You must apply through UTEP's Graduate School.

Fees

There is a $45 application fee. The application deadline for Graduate School is August 8. However, after July 15 a $15.00 non-refundable fee for expedited processing will be assessed. (This information may not be up-to-date; please refer to the web page above, or contact the Graduate School for the latest fees and requirements.)

Transcripts

You will need to submit official transcripts. You can use unofficial transcripts temporarily, but you must have official transcripts sent to the Graduate School as soon as possible. If you are a UTEP graduate, the Graduate School will obtain your transcripts for you. (This information may not be up-to-date; please refer to the web page above, or contact the Graduate School for the latest fees and requirements.)

  • Go to https://apply.embark.com/grad/UTEP
    (a new browser window will open).
    You need to create an account if you are not an Embark user.
  • When asked to select the program to which you are applying, choose the option Science (Teaching) - MAT under the College of Science section.
  • Follow the steps and make sure you submit your application - the final step.
